This month, we invite you to set aside the classics of home-style cooking for a moment and shine a spotlight on a cherished daily ritual: the aperitif.
True to our love of Belgian produce, we have designed our platters as a journey through the flavours of our regions.

A brief history of a symbol of conviviality
To whet your appetite, let’s take a brief detour to the origins of this essential part of our aperitifs. What we now call a ‘platter’ has its roots in the Middle Ages under the name ‘tranchoir’ (trencher). At the time, it was a thick slice of bread used as a plate. Although wood has replaced the bread, the object has remained a symbol of conviviality, that moment when we share much more than just food.
Our classic platters
To accompany your first moments at the table, we have selected three classic platters. You can choose from our assortment of artisanal mini croquettes, mature cheeses or local charcuterie. And for those who can’t make up their minds, our mixed platter is sure to please everyone.
The Trappist Platter

The term ‘Trappist’ does not refer to a type of cheese or beer, but to a protected quality label certifying that the product is made within an abbey by Cistercian monks (or under their supervision).
With our Trappist platter, we wanted to showcase this expertise.
This platter brings together a duo of Trappist cheeses, combining the character of Orval with the creaminess of Chimay, all served with four croquettes. To complete the pairing, we serve you a choice of two Trappist beers from our menu or the legendary Westvleteren, considered the rarest in the world.
The Ultieme Platter

For those with a hearty appetite or large groups, we have created the Ultimate Platter. It is the ultimate platter for conviviality, one to be shared in the centre of the table to savour the moment.
It features a complete selection of our cheeses and charcuterie, topped off with a winning trio of homemade croquettes to add variety.
We’re already looking forward to seeing you share more special moments together over our dishes…
