THE HALLUCINATIE
LETTER
#4
THIS MONTH...
Dear Friends of the Ultieme,
The start of the school year has a strange way of bringing houses back to life… After the summer break, the Ultieme is gradually regaining its familiar bustle. Conversations resume, glasses clink, and the first events of the season are being planned.
Because this fall, the venue will have more than one story to tell. The stories of the Zapéro-Contes, which will enchant our walls for the fourth consecutive year. The stories you’ll discover in the paintings of artist Charlotte Vedovatto. Or those of the Atelier HaruFuyu, with a deep dive into the Japanese influences on Mons ceramics.
And then, of course, there are the stories expressed through music and verse. Starting October 3, the Golden Sessions return to fill the Art Nouveau setting of the Ultieme with timeless songs and contemporary poems. As always, the stage will be open to anyone who wants to take the mic and give it a try.
Behind the scenes, too, things are happening. The workshops of the Collectif Supplément d’Âme are back in full swing, blending writing, voice, and creativity. It’s the perfect journey to explore your own world, refine your craft, and share your passion.
Last but not least, since the Ultieme loves stories in all their forms, this month we’re introducing Saïf, one of the familiar faces here. You might run into him in the dining room, moving between tables and conversations, always with that discreet presence that also defines the soul of a place.
So step inside, make yourself comfortable, look up at the details we never notice enough… and let the house tell you the rest of the story.
Enjoy the read and see you soon!
MEET THE TEAM
Saïf, maître d’hôtel at De Ultieme Hallucinatie:
when service becomes an experience

At De Ultieme Hallucinatie, service is never merely a simple gesture. It begins long before the guest takes their seat, in an unseen attentiveness, an almost instinctive presence.
But ultimately, what is it that truly transforms service into an experience?
EVENTFUL HAPPENINGS

"The Widow's Garden" Exhibition
1 October
23 September
Le Jardin des Veuves (The Widows’ Garden) invites you to take a stroll through a garden of melancholy, solitude and gentleness.
An inner sanctuary where time seems to stand still, where flowers wither and time freezes.
For a long time now, painting has been a way for Charlotte Vedovatto to create worlds and take refuge in them.
For this first HaruFuyu Workshop Exhibition, Éric Prévost invites us to explore the Japanese influences that shaped ceramics in the Mons region during the 19th and 20th centuries.
As an author, collector and expert in Belgian ceramics, he will share his insights into antique pieces from his own collection.
