FROM THE RISING SUN
TO THE LANDS OF MONS

JAPANESE INFLUENCES
ON REGIONAL CERAMICS (19th–20th CENTURIES)

For this first HaruFuyu Workshop Exhibition, Éric Prévost invites us to explore the Japanese influences that shaped ceramics in the Mons region during the 19th and 20th centuries.

As an author, collector and expert in Belgian ceramics, he will share his insights into antique pieces from his own collection. An opportunity to get up close to the objects, their forms, materials and decorations…

An opportunity to discover Belgian ceramics in a new light, through direct contact with the objects and the eye of a collector.
